The Inntirety Lounge & Community Kitchen

Welcome to the Inntirety Communal Cafe/Lounge, the central hub for our community kitchen, fresh water, and the outdoor forest shower (which you can find located directly behind the lounge building).

Because this is a communal space, it relies on the mindfulness, care, and connection of everyone who shares it. Please review these simple guidelines to help keep the lounge a welcoming, clean, and harmonious sanctuary for all guests.

🛋️ The Lounge, Library & Gift Shop

Beyond the kitchen, the lounge is a space designed for slow afternoons, rainy days, and cozy evenings. Whether you want to sink into the couch, spin some vinyl, or browse our collection, this space is yours to enjoy.

Entertainment & Relaxation

Amenities: You are welcome to enjoy the couch, the large coffee table, the record player, and our communal charging station.
Books, Games & Puzzles: We have a wide selection of books, puzzles, and board games available. Feel free to borrow a book or take a game back to your camping spot, but please return it when you are done so the next guest can enjoy it.

🛍️ The Inntirety Gift Shop

We curated a small shop inside the lounge filled with special items for you to take home.

The Honor System: The gift shop operates entirely on the honor system. We trust our community deeply; however, due to a few instances of theft, we have installed a small camera in this area. We appreciate your help in keeping everyone honest so we can continue offering this shop to our guests!
How to Purchase: If you find something you love and would like to buy it, you can pay using one of two methods:
- Venmo: Send your payment to @carrie-atkins-1
- Cash: Drop your payment directly into the cash box.
Packaging: Once you’ve made your purchase, feel free to grab one of the little gift bags provided to pack up your new treasures.

🍳 The Kitchen & Fridge Usage

The Shared Fridge: Feel free to use the small refrigerator to store your personal items during your stay.
Departure Check: You must remove all of your personal items from the fridge before you leave.
What You Can Leave Behind: If you have leftover staples that you would like to leave for other guests to enjoy, you are welcome to leave them in the fridge. We happily accept donations of butter, milk, creamer, and any other unopened items.
Supplies Provided: The kitchen is fully stocked with silverware, cooking utensils, spices, pots, pans, plates, and glasses. For your morning rituals and quick meals, we provide a Keurig, a French press, coffee, tea, oatmeal, waffle mix, and fresh water.

🚰 Water & Dishwashing Ritual

Our water comes from an IBC water container, which means our supply is precious. Please use water sparingly.

The sink runs on cold water only. To wash your dishes properly, please follow this step-by-step ritual:

Heat the Water: Use the Instant Pot provided to heat up a batch of hot water.
Wash: Pour the hot water into the wash tub, add dish soap, and wash your dishes inside the tub.
Prep the Rinse: Once washed, move your soapy dishes to the other side of the sink.
Rinse: Empty your soapy wash water, fill the tub with cold water, and rinse your dishes clean.
Dry: Place your clean dishes in the drying rack to air-dry.

♻️ Trash & Recycling

Main Trash: In an effort to reduce waste, we do not always empty the main trash bin until it is completely full, so you may notice there is already some trash in there when you arrive.
Recycling: We highly encourage recycling! You will find a dedicated recycling bin located right outside the lounge, clearly separated into sections for plastic, glass, and paper.

🧼 Towels & Linens

Finding Towels: Fresh towels are located in the lounge area, on the bottom shelf of the large white shelving unit.
Allocation: To help us conserve local water and energy, towels are limited to one per guest, per stay.
Dirty Linens: When you are done with your towel, please place it directly into the blue basket.

🔋 Charging Station + Rechargeable Fans

Rechargeable Fans: For your comfort, we provide rechargeable fans at the charging station. To ensure everyone stays cool, please limit your stay to only 1 fan per space. When you are done using it, kindly return it to the charging station so it can power up for the next guest.

Solar Chargers: Each guest is welcome to borrow one small portable solar charger during their stay. You can find these resting on the window sill directly by the charging station.

Cords & Cables: Please bring your own charging cords to use with the devices and solar packs. To keep the station functional for everyone, do not remove any cords from the main charging station.
