Laughter yoga is a heart-opening practice that is accessible to all body types. We will not be doing any poses, so no yoga mat necessary!
Laughter Yoga is a fun and effective way to strengthen your well-being is to laugh. Laughing at something funny is such a simple act, but it offers a wide variety of benefits – from relieving stress to building relationships.
It has been reported that laughter yoga physiologically increases breathing in the body, relaxes muscles, strengthens mental function by reducing stress hormones, reduces burnout, depression, and anxiety levels, positively affects quality of life, improves sleep quality, and so much more!
Laughter yoga is for everyone
We will work with our breath to get our bodies loose, full of oxygen, and feeling good. Laughter has many benefits, including the release of endorphins (happy chemicals), comfortability with other people, and an overall sense of well-being.
Laughter yoga involves bringing out the inner child with silliness and playful activities, all which we will be laughing during.
The concept is “unconditional laughter,” the idea that we do not need a reason to laugh; we simply choose to because it feels good. With practice, laughter will come naturally and overflow joy into your life!
