Inntirety.
/inˈtīrədē
The state of being entire or complete, with nothing lacking, or continuous, without interruption.
The whole of something.
The inner part of something.
Everything and nothing.
Once upon a time, long, long ago, there was a place.
A beautiful place of spaciousness and splendor that held no hours, as there was no time. A place filled with wonder and boundless adventure that never uttered the notion nor could fathom the idea of n’ts*.
A place with no titles, status, failure, evaluation, or expectation as any action only held space in its own right. This place required no membership, no bounty, and no special pass as it resides in each and every one of us.
Sadly, we only come to know of it when we feel it slipping away.
When we are born, we enter upon our very first inhale. As children, we are in it more than we are not. As teens, we notice that a door of sorts is fading in, drawing the illusion of separation. The illusion that this place is no longer practical and should only be entered with careful planning, restraint, and even caution.
As adults, the door seems to assume a lock. As time goes on, some of us even forget of this place. Worse yet, we think we have misplaced the key.
To this was born Inntirety. Inntirety is a sacred and enchanted setting that invites us to remember that this place still exists, as it always has and always will, within each and every one of us.
The invitation is forever extended, always available, and open to all.
Welcome to Inntirety.
“Fairies have to be one thing or the other, because being so small they unfortunately have room for one feeling only at a time.”
― J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan
Frequently asked.
What do you specialize in?
Well, if we were to say we had a ‘specialty,’ it would be finding, creating, and creating experiences that encourage us to be in the ‘moment.’ For example, Inntirety was inspired by the forest in which it resides. Inntirety was honestly a co-collaboration with the land. We asked her, as respectful and gracious stewards, if we could enter her space and integrate elements to inspire play, imagination, discovery, stillness, and awareness. WIth not too much pushback, she said yes, but upon specific terms and a few guidelines.
Are there any guidelines to be aware of when visiting Inntirety?
The agreed-upon terms and guidelines set forth between the spirit within this land and the ‘us’ that act as the stewards go as such.
No intentional harming of the vegetation. Vegetation is an assemblage of plant species, and the ground cover they provide.
No cutting down or harming of the beautiful trees that take permanent residence within the interior of the enchanted forest.
Technology is a choice.
Whispers are encouraged. Spontanious exhaltations of emotion are welcomed. Harmful words, thoughts, and actions are highly discouraged.
Respect is a mutual agreement between nature, other humans, animals, and self.
Fire should always be respected and attended too at all times. Each camping area has it’s own fire enclosure and is the ONLY place a fire should be kept. Please do not bring outside wood to Inntirety. Burn bundles are available for a small donation.
If you see or hear a crow, please thank it for being there.
Feeding of woodland animal inhabitants and passers-by is prohibited.
Please be kind to the resident chickens. They will thank you with yummy eggs. Be alert when in the presence of a rooster. They are instinctually protective of their lady friends. If they get a little fussy, they might try to chase you. Do your best not to run. Instead, squat or sit on the ground. They will do their best to interpret this act of submission as a show of respect and willingness to do no harm to the hens.
Although we do not allow pets at Inntirety due to our livestock friends, we do respect support animals. If this is the case for you, please email us to discuss.
Do you host ongoing retreats at Inntirety?
Yes, we do. Sometimes we host our own, and other times, we hold space for other retreat facilitators.

No matter how lost we feel, nature always offers a path back to our true selves.
The trees, if you take the time to listen, you will discover they hold almost human-like relatable qualities and characteristics. Some exude a feeling of compassion, others mischievousness, and if you wander even deeper into the forest…utter mysticism and magic. All you have to do is open your heart; they will share their wisdom and transform your story into a fairytale.

“Things just happen in the right way, at the right time. At least when you let them, when you work with circumstances instead of saying, ‘This isn’t supposed to be happening this way,’ and trying harder to make it happen some other way.”

“You talk when you cease to be at peace with your thoughts; And when you can no longer dwell in the solitude of your heart you live in your lips, and sound is a diversion and a pastime. And in much of your talking, thinking is half murdered.” – Khalil Gibran 5-Day Silent Retreat – Kansas…
